E204 error on Canon NP6028 Photocopier?

Hi there
Does anyone know what a E204 error represents on a a Canon 6028 Photocopier.
On PowerUp i get an "E204 error, Switch copier off then on again."
On the occasions that I DON'T get the error mesage, the Touch Display shows a Load paper message, and doesn't function in spite of the fact that all tryas are loaded and ready to go.
Any suggestions?

The error corresponds to the scanner not returning to the home position sensor during initial rotation. Sometimes this is caused by insufficient lubrication of the scan rail. Remove the scan glass (two screws, top r/h side), and apply a few drops of light mineral oil along the length of the scanrail. Move the scanrail away from the left side of the machine to apply the oil at that point of the scanrail. Ensure the power lead is disconnected prior to starting the work...
