what can i check to diagnose problem?

My 2003 Nissan Altima will start and run fine . When it is cold . When I stop the car and turn it off . The car will not start until it cools down. It usually start after about 15 to 20 minutes. When it starts it runs just fine untill I turn it off. the motor turns over but won't start
