panasonic TX 28PK2?

My television is now 10 years old and has worked really well in that time. Now the Picture is mainly red, there is now white or yellow! I have unplugged everyhing to it as did think it was the Tivo Box or another external cause but it is still red. Is that a typical fault with this type of Tv? Just wanted it confirm to me before I go out and buy a New Television.
