Turning on my Creda Storage heater outside economy 7 hours?

Will my heater only heat up during Economy 7 hours and not at times outside in the day time outside?

The electricity supply to your storage heaters activate automatically between 00:00 - 07:00 or 01:00 - 08:00 depending on the hour change.

This electricity is called economy 7 and is half the price of day time electricity.

There are heat retaining bricklike slabs in the storage heaters which warm up during the night and should last until the next evening.

You should have two knobs on the heaters. One is an INPUT button and the other one an OUTPUT button.

Make sure that the INPUT button is on maximum so you will get maximum heat storage for the next night.

Make sure that the OUTPUT button is on minimum during the night so the bricks are not releasing stored heat.

You usually don't need to touch the control knobs during the day. At first people don't understand having so much heat during the night and then not so much heat late in the evening when you need it most but you will get used to it.

If at first you find the heat too drying you can get these small water holding containers that hook onto the storage heaters. That will put some moisture back in the air.

Your storage heater will only come on during economy 7 hours because it is on a seperate curcuit to your normal electricity supply
