Need to Unlock Stereo for Ford Mondeo 2001?

After replacing my battery in my car, and putting in the wrong code, it has now locked and coming up with "waiting..." and shows a time 30 minute countdown.
Serial Number: M260885 but (A) do not know the Code to use and (B) how to get it off the "waiting" screen. PLease help, I have a long journey this weekend, and have no tunes!!!
