makita dc18ra t charger, bl1430 14.4v 3.0ah batts?

Is it possible to by-pass memory chip to charge batts. Bought 2 new replacement batts from cross ocean electronics ones ok the other refused to charge on 7th charge. Red light on charger flashes fan runs but wont charge. Any help much appreciated thanks.
