Assistance with message 'network cable unplugged'?

I have Windlows XL and have recently got a Speedtouch 330 to connect to the internet. When testing the system after installing Speedtouch it tells me that the computer is ok, the modem is ok, the ISP is ok but tells me there is a problem with my internet connect ie that the network cable is unplugged I did get the internet initially for a 2 day period then this message appeared. I haven't unplugged any cables. Could someone help? Thanks.

Have you check to see if the cables are plugged in ??? I know you said you did not unplug them but one could have come loose on its own. Also are all the lights that were on when the modem was working, still lit ???(bad power connection)

Is your Internet connection actually working? The reason that I ask is that you don't say.

"A network cable is unplugged" message usually comes from Windows to let you know that one or more of the Local Area Network (usually Etherent) cables is unplugged. If you want to get rid of it: Double click on it and when you see the pop up window., right Click and then select Disable.
