How to dismantle and repair a Morphy Richards vacuum cleaner model 73288?

My vacuum has hardly any suction and what little bits it does pick up, chews it up and churns it right back out. I am trying to investigate the problem my self but don't know how to dismantle it in order to explore the possibilities listed above for poor suction. Are you able to give any guidance or help on this matter or can you refer me to any other assistance as to how to dismantle. Many thanks
