The heater in my Diesel Transit was working fine then next time we used the van it will only blow cold air, a couple of days later it started blowing warmish air when we got back in next time it was cold again
Firstly check your coolant level is ok,are you getting circulation in the reservoir? if not check water pump. Not sure but the heater control valve would be worth looking at if it is electrically operated,had a couple of Fords where the valve was seized,feel the hoses at the bulkhead they should both be warm.
