Fisher and paykel Nemo not starting wash pump?

I have a F and P Nemo (with dial knob and Askoll M 95 wash pump) , not the DW820. The dishwasher fills with water but the wash pump motor doesn't start. You hear humming. Then when you cancel/reset cycle, the drain pumps works, and pumps out water. I have hooked up the wash pump by itself, and it runs.What could be stopping it from running in the cycle??

Thanks for your answer. I got a 2nd hand motor and put it in and it works great now.Thanks for your help

Have you tried changing the motor start capacitor. If not then try a new one and see what happens.
