Aqua pLUS electric shower - element issue?

I have an Aqua pLUS electric shower 3 years old & about 1 year ago the element burned out and the element had to be replaced. 3 months ago the element overheated and tripped - so untripped it. But now this has happened again. The water pressure is fine downstairs & the previous shower was installed 5years + and no problems.. Should I put in a new shower or how best resolve Thks

The shower plumber think the water pressure may be low - this causing the element to burn out... But I don't think this is it as water pressure in tap fine & house next door has two electric showers upstairs and has no problem. The shower plumber is suggesting to install a pump shower and pipe it directly from pump and not from mains water. Replacing the element again I do not think will fix the problem, I'm thinking in putting in a new triton shower connected to mains water again & see if this solves the issue.. Any suggestions much appreciated.

you have to kind of reset itfrom the heat sensor, disconect the power from the main, open the front cover ,on the top left

abovt the heating element undo the two nuts to release the heat sensor ,use a screwdriver to push the plate (on the heat

sensor)back in.

- SHOULD I TRY THIS ? Thanks

Tripped? A circuit breaker tripped out? A circuit breaker does not concern itself with how hot an element is.

You do not say the rating of your shower in kW or the breaker in Amps - perhaps they're not properly matched - too close to one another and you might get random tripping.

Nothing you have said here suggests any particular course of action - the circuit breaker has tripped twice over the course of a year - nine months and three moths intervals.

Good luck...
