I have a 97 plate daf 45 and the service brake was below the minimum on the brake test so failed its mot.
So have been told to look at the spring brake activator as the efficiency is low on both sides...
Is this the case as the rest of the brakes are fine for the test

cables usually required for this,make sure that yoke on handbrake actuator is free and not siezed. check adjusters are free and grease applied on both pivot ends,check lever on shoes are free also.
