My Computer Had Volume Control Until A Reboot Wiped It Off My Desktop. What needs To Be done To restore Volume On Speakers And Have Volume Icon.

Start: Settings: Control panel: Sounds & audio devices: Volume tab:
Check box marked "Place volume icon in the taskbar.
Apply.
