beko model no.dvc665 dangerous live body?

Has anybody got this model of Beko double oven I was experience what I thought were my nerves playing up when I was doing the dishes in the kitchen sink. however I got my digital multimeter out and put the negative lead on the body of my beko cooker and the other on the kitchen sink tap it measured 225 volts ac!!!. The cooker body is live!!! dangerous as hell , electricution risk.
I turned off the cooker and checked that the earth wire was attached securely and it was.
What could cause this I have had this cooker for about five years I did notice that if liquid spilled on the hob the cooker rcd would trip out.
Any ideas.
