Hy my Hotpoint dryer has been squeaking for a while but working ok till mid cycle it stopped and made a humming sound and i could smell a slight burning smell -more electrical than rubber. The belt is intact but the drum is very tight to turn. After a while the dryer will start but only turn once or twice then stop and hum again. At this point i can see the motor turning very slowly whilst it hums. Please help?
