Leave the registry alone. It's very probably not the cause of your problem.

It look like it's a problem with the flash drive itself.
Does it have a write protect switch? It's normally a small slide switch on the side. It's easy to miss as it's usually pretty small.
If there is such a switch, slide it in the opposite position. If it's in the middle, push it completely to one side. Check if it work now. If not, try the opposite position.

If there is NO write protect switch or changing it's position have no effect:
Copy any content to some other location or device.
Try to format it.
If you can't format, it may be that that flash drive is actually defective. Flash memory have a limited number of times that it can be written to. If it was written to to often, it becomes impossible to write new data to it and it's time to throw it away and get a new one.

Undo the changes that you made to the registry. making the wrong change can cause some veryserious problems.
The key you where looking for is located in:
"HKLM/system/control set/control/storage device policies"
And is named "WriteProtect" and shold be set to zero.
That value is the default value.

Your command line can't work as "diskport" is not a recognised command. Also, the spaces can't be part of a command or keyword, they are only used as separators.

Some flash drives have a write prottect switch. Check if it have one and slide it in the oposite position if present.
