Paul - it's a WINDER not a wander - to wind up the mechanism.
Take it to an old fashioned traditional clock repairer or to a high street jeweller shop.
A new winder is an easy job if they have a spare one that fits and should not cost a fortune.
You might also consider a new watch - one that doesn't let its winder fall out.
