Just flag those unsolicited messages as SPAM.
Regularly check your spam folder to catch false positives and empty it.

If a message seems to come from a source that you do business with, contact them with a phone number that you already know or an e-mail address that you already have, NEVER EVER from one from the suspicious message. The message may be a fake.

Thanksbto both.
I have two email addresses as an old one filled up in junk folder as I believe results in buying online.
So the one the message arrived in(inbox not junk) is for family and friends only, the other is for oline transactions except banking.
So addressed to me in friends and family email address its natural I open it. All three companies are bonafide.
injuriy QED Ltd claims company, Slater Gordon Solutions Ltd a company of solicitors. Lastly Mayfair clinic is also bonafide.

Now its is possible I have opened a can of worms as the address that follows my name on the 1st email is not mine I don't reside in London. However the email address is correct .
So the can of worms may be an accident claim scam using my name and email address, if so how would the claim scammers get the responses from bonafide companies, example how would they also get the clinic appointment which may be for whiplash injury. Neither IQED or Slater Gordon have so far told me details of the accident, even asking to reconfirm details of the alleged accident in mid 2015 as it may be a fake claim. The emails subject to Slater Gordons response are ready to be sent to police email scam department.
Long but thanks for reading. ,They have to get up early in the morning to scam money from me. I'm tighter with money than a Ducks behind, and that's watertight.

Scammers. Never EVER communicate with them, even just to tell them to feck off. All that does is confirm your email address is valid and that they and their chums can bombard you with more crap.

If you reply to or even open unsolicited messages then you only ask for trouble to come your way.

Lists of mail addresses are sold on from one grubby outfit to another - if the addressees are known to be people who actually reply to mails then the list will command a higher price.

Watch out for more messages from people hungry for your money.

If you have no idea why you have a mail then just delete it - never open it - and never ever reply to it.

The fact that the sender's message has evaporated shows the sinister nature of it - asking how (I don't know) will achieve nothing unless you wish to do something similar.
