how to rewire Basch 1021 vsr Drill?

You will need to investigate the changeover switch and understand the internal connections - terminals 3-6-5-4 in the diagram - better still just leave the changeover switch permanently in the forward direction.

The stop go switch has 3 connections for Power L N E - you should leave these alone. The switch also has two outputs to the changeover switch - you should leave these alone too else the drill will never work.
