How can I fix my SP1900 Steam Generator Iron Press broken Handle?
We do have a SP1900 Domena Steam Iron Press. Our cleaning lady tried to iron a to thick folded linned and broke the handle. How can we fix than. We are in a rural part of South Africa and need to fix it ourselves.

Much will depend on the nature of the break - you just say that it's broken and give no clue about the damage.
You might consider an epoxy glue but it would need to be supported with splints to brace the parts. Thin aluminium sheet or if desperate a flattened and shaped tin can.
Fix the metal brace on with self tapping screws - be sure not to drill the fixing holes too big in diameter so as to give the screws some material to bite into.
You might also consider fashioning a completely new handle from scrap wood - again screwing it to the body.

Do not blame the cleaning lady - if Amazon sell a spare for it then it's clearly a point of weakness.
