Is the machine giving you any error indications? Flashing lights, beeps, text on display?

also check whether there is water collected in the base of the machine. There may well be an anti-flood float switch in the base which will preecvent the machine from doing anything except empty, if it has been triggered. If so, tip the machine, empty the water and sop up the rest then check for leaks.
