pilot lites & stays on until burner comes on-then run short while &goes out?
pilot lights & stays on even when the burner is turned on.then it runs a short while & then shuts off. When the flames go out the pilot light goes out also. What is wrong that it also takes pilot light out too? How can we fix this?
Most likely it is a part called a "thermocouple" it looks like a wire from the burner,as it heats up it keeps the gas valve open for the burner but if it is faulty the valve shuts down for safety reasons,look it up.
