Have a look in a Renault-specific forum - I have a feeling that moisture getting inside the window motor control module (mounted on each motor) is a favorite.
Some people have had success by removing the control module, dismantling it, drying it out thoroughly and then sealing it. Its a bit of a pain as the inside panel of the door (and handle etc., ) has to come off to get at it.
If I recall correctly, there is available an aftermarket replacement for about £20-30 per window that gives the basic functions.
Its a well-known problem and should be easy to find lots of discussion with a quick Internet search or two.
