i have panasonic 28" flatscreen tv and the on button does not stay in if wedged in tv works fine any ideas

Panasonic Video, Televisions Button Works Fine

Sounds like the switch is faulty if operates when wedged but be careful as this could cause further faults as it could be arcing internally.
