How do i find out which company performed the conversion of my 1983 talbot?

I have recently purchased a 1983 Talbot campervan. The problem i face is when i try to insure the vehicle. I do not have the name of the company who performed the conversion. The only information i do have is that the conversion was done in Germany.

Your peeing against the wind with this one Jan,go back to the seller and ask them who they insured the van with and you have a start,after that you will have to try specialist insurers,ie,kit car,camper,conversion,it's not listed like a KA or Fiesta,ask the previous owner who they used and try them.Good luck.
