Can anyone help me unlock my system?

I am using an Emachine W3503 Desktop PC which has an Intel Celeron D356 processor with 3.33 GHz as speed. One day,as I was trying to use my PC, as soon as the unit powers on, there is that black screen with that message," enter your password to unlock the system," but the strange thing is, I have never set any password on my system.I'd appreciate it anyone can help me with anything; any idea will help. I tried to get rid of the password by taking the CMOS battery off and reset the jumber for a day, but didn't work. I am using XP pro, by the way. Please, help me out any smart people from around the world!

Have you booted in safe mode by pressing the DEL key or trying F2 or F8 when windows is starting up to try and by pass the password screen..if safe mode works should allow you to get to windows and the contral panel to change the password...Does it ask for the administrator password when you see that screen?
