The battery in my renault laguna 1.8 RT is not charging or holding power. I have bought a new battery and this has made no difference. I have charged up battery, jumped started the car and had the alternator checked. Nothing is helping. Please can anyone advise? If it is an electrical fault how could I trace it?
Hi, I had a similar problem with our 2.0 petrol Megane Coupe. It turned out to be a poor connection on the starter motor which prevented the correct amps getting through. We thought it was a flat battery too. After buying new battery and alternator we found the dirty connection. Good luck.
