Mine beeps all the time at 6.00am every morning. What's that about then?

Following the instructions posted here, the Ansafone light turns on OK, BUT....

The Recorder is NOT switched on, it just plays a voice message saying 'please ring later'! What is the next step to turn on the message recorder??

On the hand set, press the top left hand key"clear/mute" This enters the answer phone mode. Then press key 8. This will put the answer ON press 8 again will switch to OFF.
Hope this helps.
The middle light on the base unit will light for ON and be unlight for OFF

to turn the answer machine on/off you have to press clear/mute button that go's into tad.then press 8 button

How on earth do you answer or make a call without hearing it through the monitor, It appares my earpeice must be switched off! how do i turn it back on??

Press the top left button with the label "clear/mute" above it. The display says "TAD OFF" if the answer machine is off. Press and hold the 8 button (label "on/off") below it) until the phone beeps and the display changes to "TAD ON". Press the answer phone button again (top left). Done!
