I'm going to shoot my samsung 4900. Total piece of cr*p. We have had this same problem several times--usually can be fixed by initializing machine (turn key to reg mode, hold down subtotal button, unplug and replug while holding button). However, this solution has not worked today...time for a new register, I guess...
