I have an Emerson VCR recorder EWV404. I set programs to be recorded. All seems fine until after the time the recorded program time is over. Then the timer light blinks. WHY? It's never done this before. Also it's also recording only 1/2 of the program to be recorded. Any help would be appreciated.
Does the VCR eject the tape after it stops recording, or the next time you turn it on? If so, there may be a problem with the tape or with the VCR. If you have the same problem with a new tape, get a new VCR, or try to get it repaired.
