How can I fix my Mintek MDP-1020?

The on/off switch does not work. It just slides back and forth, nothing happens. We tried to get inside the unit, but you cannot unscrew the tiny little screws.

`I have the same model with the same problem. The printed ckt board that has the switch soldered to it has come loose and the actual electrical part of the switch is never turned to the on position. I've search for the switch needed but have failed. I did glue the switch back onto the board but it is very tempermental. I'd love to get another 1020 for parts but it seems that every one out is having the same problem.
