How can I get my hose assembly on my Hoover Steamvac F5862-900 to spray?

How can I get my hose assembly on my Hoover Steamvac 1500 Deluxe Model F5862-900 to spray cleaning solution? It just one day stopped spraying. Replaced the hose assembly due to broken hose and thought that was contributing to the problem but it isn't. When I depress the trigger to spray solution sometimes the solution will dribble out or no solution will come out at all. Checked the hoses on the inside of the unit. All clear there. Would the solution not dispensing have anything to do with either the turbine assembly or the pump? Thanks for any help ahead of time.
