How Do I Fix The Neck Warp on My Celebrity Ovation?

The strings on my electric acoustic get farther 'n farther away from the neck of my guitar... a fellow musician told me that because I tune my strings in an open E tuning (E-B-E-G-B-E), that the strain from the tightened A 'n D strings are causing my neck to "warp" or bend away from the body of the guitar... it's a Celebrity Ovation 'n it isn’t even two years old... it's in otherwise great condition 'n I love it dearly.

I own 6 ovations and my oldest one is a 1973 balladeer which had a neck like a banana when I bought it. I was in Connecticut where they are made at the time and the factory had to resteam the neck for me. That cost $300 10 years ago.
Forget the truss rod.
If you intend to keep playing it in open E use the lightest strings you can get, I use martin lights.
Take the strings off, lift the bridge saddle, there should be 4 brown plastic shims under there. Take one or two of them out and restring.
If you get it to where you find it playable then check the intonation at the twelth fret [play a harmonic and then press the string the note should be the same] if it is not then adjust the truss rod a quarter turn either way, leave the guitar for 1 hour to settle then check again. Keep doing this until you get it right.
The other alternative is to forget the open E nonsense and tune it to open D which will halve the tension at the top nut.

Is this one of the cheaper Ovations? If it is similar in price to the Applause model,I have seen this before, and maximum truss rod adjustment AND the making of a new lowered saddle could not improve the action to a playable degree...basically,the neck to body angle was wrong, and even an experienced master luthier couldn't fix it without dismantling it...uneconomical repair. If it is a top notch Ovation, contact the factory.

The tuning shouldn't affect it. Have a look here for a good guide. Be careful, it's easy to over do it and cause problems, visit a shop if you're not sure what you are doing.
