between the switch (plastic cover which you press down - mine is green in colour) and the handle is a tiny slot - even "minute" - you need to find a very slim object to slide down this slot - this will release the catch holding the switch cover in place - once released remove the plastic switch cover and the actual switch will be revealed - the switch can now be withdrawn and repaired/replaced as necessary - hope this helps
