cannon ixus11 - I cannot open the film compartment which is empty?
Cannon Ixus11 camera. Having taken out a used aps film I cannot open the film compartment to put in a new film. The film icon is flashing and if I press rewind the camera tries to rewind the film but at the end a flashing H appears and the film compartment remains locked.
try taking out the batterys, leave it for 24 hours this drains the capacitor. Failing this their is not much hope. This is a common problem with aps cameras and their is no repair service that is cost effective.
Bight the bullet and go digital,its cheaper and less hastle
