Cheers for the reset tip we have had one for about 3 years now and its been great - imagaine the horror when we went 2 turn it on in france and it wouldnt come on - had to go and buy a map and relearn how to read one !!! Was going to look to replace this as it has been great but just thought id see if there was anything on here and its worked !!!!

all working fine now had to hold the reset and on button for about 30 secs and then it came back on

Have u tried a reset? on the bottom of the tomtom is a reset button, if u hold this in for 10 seconds then turn hold the power button for ten seconds.this will should reset the hold tomtom with out you losing the data on it such as recent addresses, if you get a green light on charge try resetting it with the power plugged in, make sure u use the mains power as the usb isnt designed for charging this model.

Hi, yes if you look in the area where you put the docking station there is a load of little pins then directly above it there is a little cut out (look carefully) on this cut out there is a reset button, press with a needle and then turn on as normal, this will do it, NO CHARGE!
