need to repair fishing pole?

I`ve used 6 lb line before, wrapped neatly, held taught (knot NOT necessary) then applied super glue evenly around the whipped line instead of varnish.

WORKED A TREAT & LOOKED GREAT !!!

After all, it`s not rocket science (bit like fishing really) !!!

you need to find a general tackleshop & buy a eye/ring & also some "whipping thread" fix the ring in place with a sml amount of tape, then make a loop in the thread & lay it on the leg of the ring, then wind the thread away from the ring making sure to leave the loop showing a bit when done cut the thread & pass the end through the loop now pull the loop back & this will tie off the thread paint with clear varnish when done (not easy)
