Aquatronic W8500 - Diverter valve?

Dear Sir/Madam,

the water does not go through the shower but through the drain line attached to the outlet pipe.

I believe the problem is with the diverter valve inside the pump. Do I need to replace the pump altogether or only the valve. How can I access the valve?
