what happens if i punctured the evaporator coils i my freezer with a knife?

It is sometoimes possible to make an air tight repair with 2 part araldite. But if you have run the appliance since it will no doubt now have moisture in the system and compressor oil.You would still need an engineer.But I would forget about trying to get this one repaired
