Accenta Mini G4 Tamper Fault Lockout?

I also have installed the Accenta Mini G4 with LCD RKP, this unit replaced the old Accenta G3 model so all the PIR and contact wiring remains the same, the Tamper Lockout appeared when connecting the RKP, even before connecting the PIR detectors! I have gone through every possibility i can think of but the 'Lockout' state still remains. Please Help...

Well Done DAVE and ALEX J
Spot on with the advice. Look at page 4.
I had two faults and didn’t realise about the SCB (T and A) and two tamper circuits. Sorted now THANKS!

Same with me just now. Anti tamper springs not closing the switch properly. Little stretch did the job.

Found this thread and it's solved my problem. The tamper spring in the RKP was too short. Stretching did not help. Putting a paper wad into the plastic tube that the tamper switch is supposed to engage with did. I filled the plastic to the neck.

Thank you for your help. This should be entered in the installation manual for future reference.

Just had the same problem
Your answers have saved me hours of work.
The spring in the RKP is very short.

I had the same problem. Eventually it appeared to be the tamper circuit for the external siren (this one is not marked as Tamp on the main board, but rather as SCB A and T). So, when in troubles, follow Dave's suggestion - try to put original U-loops in these 3 circuits and then close the main panel lid to engage it's own tamper switch. Also ensure that this switch is working fine - I found out that mine can make a clicking sound and still remain open. If necessary, try to expand the spring on top of it.
BTW on the 4th page of the Engineer's Manual there is a diagram of all necessary close circuits (factory defaults) to ensure the panel is working.

I have a G4 with a tamper lock out problem - although mine is intermittent.

Are you aware that the keypad has its own tamper? have you tried looping this together?

I had this on two systems I have installed. Check the anti tamper spring on the LCD keypad. I had to strech the spring so when the keypad panel is mounted to it's back plate the sping is long enough to make switch contact.

The G4 has 3 tamper circuits which are all linked out when shipped. replace all 3 links and test again. Remove these links one at a time and reset system. This will isolate the problem tamper circuit. The panel cover has to be closed properly

Hey Cam,
Open or Undo RKP check Tamp wires are properly inserted
Check little sping switch, press it couple of times see it works and when you are doing that it will trigger sounder---press reset and your user code. This will bring system unset. Hope this works. I have managed to sort my system. Good luck....
