i find that when i am watching my recorded programmes if i fast forward the screen freezes and nothing happens. the only thing i am able to do is switch it off by the plug and start again which more often than enough results in the same problem repeating itself
The recorder is not recording I have unplugged it from the mains and re-booted it but it still won’t record. After a while a red light comes on. Can anybody help?

I had a similar problem, and found that if I fast forward only at x4 speed it was okay ... but my box then completely failed a month later ...so perhaps the first response was correct...!!

it sounds like your harddrive requires re formatting or your harddrive is starting to fail
