Weed Eater model GTI 17LE Runs 5 min and stalls out?

I have a Weed Eater weed wacker with carb # WA 207A. It is a little hard to start, and runs well for 5 min and just stalls and won't restart. New spark plug, cleaned carb, still the same. I have a carb rebuild kit and new fuel filter to install. Before i start, any one have experience with this problem? There are two screws for adjustment....is one idle and the other mixture?
