Mend Sears 19 hp Hp Tractor

How do I remove the starter from a 19 hp sears tractor?

I'm trying to change the starter on my sears 19hp lawn tractor. I can get the first bolt out and loosen the second that is located under the flywheel but the starter seems hung up on something. Is there a way to remove it without taking off the flywheel?

You don't have to remove the flywheel. It's tight, no room for a socket. A wrench is slow but effective.
