It depends on what color the wires are. If you have 8 wires, you should see a Blue pair, Orange pair, Green pair and a Brown pair. If you have these colors, buy a phone jack at any store and connect the wire with a lot of white/little bit of blue to the green post, blue/little bit of white to the red post, white/little bit of orange to the black post and orange/little bit of white to the yellow post. Plug in and test your phone. You should have 4 wires connected which most phone systems use, some systems only use the blue or orange.
