Mend AEG T37400 Door Tumble Dryer

Can I reverse the door on my AEG vented tumble drier myself?

I have recently bought an AEG Lavatherm vented tumble dryer (model T37400) and want to change the door to open the opposite way round. AEG say I have to contact their Service Force engineers at a cost of approx £64! Is it possible for me to do it myself?

Hi Philip...

I have just reversed the door opening on my Lavatherm 5350 tumble dryer and it is very easy. You can reverse everything but the door lock from the front of the machine. To switch the lock you have to deassamble the top to get the wires over to the other side...
