how to get to the clock to by pass it on my leisure rangemaster 110?

The clock on my oven keeps flashing and is set on auto, I found a solution to bypass it but do not know how to get to the clock as the hot plate is in the way, any ideas?

Remove the two screws on the back of the cooker along the vent. It may take a bit of wiggling to move the hot plate. We have only one yellow and orange lug so good luck working it out !
