INOVIX MP3 PLAYER MUDDLES TRACKS?

I have been downloading audiobooks to my inovix 256 mp3 player. despite being downloaded in order the player muddles them up and they don't play in sequence. the playmode is set to normal and not reshuffle. how can I get them to play in sequence?

To solve the problem, we need to decide whether it sorts tracks by using the filename or ID3 tag data. When it is known which of these affects the order, just adding numbers to the beginning of that should work ok. Or how about using WinAmp (or similar) to copy playlists? Does the order work properly then, I wonder?

i have ths same problem , damn those mp3s , i try and try and no matter what i do it just keeps the tracks muddled , i typed 1 at the beginning of the song i want first etc , but it still confuses them.
