Dyson DC01 no suction?

you may have a split in your hose , it can only be blocked if it is running right, undo the three star screws from the sole plate and check the compartment where the belt is housed, also trace it back along the hose section and the underneath where you will find two little rubber covers, try looking there it may have something lodged in there. hope this helps.
