remove green starter button,it is held in by a small clip on its base on the straight side of the button nearest the handle.
Use a small strip of steel 1/4 of an inch wide slightly bent 1/2 inc from the bottom.insert this in center of the gap on the straight side of the button and fiddle to release button.
Remove self tapping screw then remove switch.You will not be able to use the old connectors use 2 LUCAR connectors (as used on car wiring).
I you cannot remove green button prise it out with 2 small screwdrivers,you will destroy the small retaining catch.
Purchase a new button from your local Dyson shop,which will cost a shocking £3
