no signal shows on pc also red light is on ii the mother board and makes one bleep sound

Motherboard blown, is it an emachine,advent,medion packard bell or gateway from pc world.??Sometimes the power supply blows at the same time, cost to repair inc parts £77.50

Sorry need a lot more info Motherboard maker and model. BIOS chip maker and number, long beep or short beep ??
